2lbFishcut into 4 inch pieces
1cupAll Purpose Flour
1tbspGarlic Powder
1tbspPaprika
2tspSalt
2tspBlack Pepper
2Eggsbeaten
1canBeer
2cupsVegetable Oilfor frying
Instructions
Heat oil in a large pan or deep fryer to 165 degrees F.
Pat fish dry with paper towel and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, 2 tsp salt and 2 tsp pepper. Whisk eggs into dry ingredients and gradually add the beer. Whisk until a thin translucent batter is formed.
Dip fish pieces into the batter and then place one at a time into the hot oil. Fry fish, turning once, until both sides are golden brown. About 2-3 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towel and serve hot with french fries.
